GANDHIJI ON NATURE-CURE"Forty years before, I happened ·to read two books by Kuhne, The NewScience of Healing and Return toNature. Since then I am an ardentbeliever in Nature-Cure. ·"India is a poor country, and I amtrying to evolve a Nature-Cure systemwhich could benefit the poor masses .of India. I wish to confine myself to asystem and means, which relate to thefive elements, viz. Earth, Water, Light,Sky and Air. This means that, peoplewith faith in God will follow the path ofnature and use natural means for cureof their diseases."It also means that it is better toprevent disease, than cure it after ithas got a footing in the body. This willteach people to observe cleanlinesand show them the proper way to keeptheir bodies and minds healthy."
