ALE POSTS CAREER NIGHT: In her first collegiate game against her little sister - freshman Kristen Ale from Cal Poly - Rheina Ale tallied a career night. Against the Mustangs,theseniorguardwentoffforacareer-high27pointswithadozenreboundsforherfirstcareerdouble-double.The27pointsalsomarkedthefirsttimeinher career the native of Carson, Calif. has posted 20-plus points in consecutive games. At San Jose State, Ale posted a team-high 23 points as the Dons earned their first victory of the 2011-12 season.

Steding, an Olympic gold medalist and a NCAA National Champion at Stanford University, joined the Dons in 2010 from Columbia University. Prior to coaching the Lions, Steding spent a season as an assistant coach for the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA and seven years at Warner Pacific. Hardiek came totheHilltopafterayearatSanFranciscoStateandafour-yearplayingcareeratMissouri.Marrin,whoisinherfourthyearatUSF,isenteringherninthseasonasanassistant coach at the Division I level – all as the recruiting coordinator.
