Gabriel & family on the coach

We had to get up at 6 am. The coach left at 7 am. The coach was organized by Liverpool Hope University.

Getting to London

We got to London at 12 o'clock sharp. We saw the river Thames and the Houses of Parliament, with Big Ben.

At the Demo

The students and lecturers are carrying placards calling onto the government to stop education cuts.

Amongst the people

There were 52 000 people at the march. People were singing and shouting, all in good spirit. It was incredible!

Trouble ahead...

Some protestors dressed up in costumes and others lit up fires. A group of protestors broke in and occupied 30 Millbank Tower – Tory HQ. They are called Millbank Militants.

Our message

We mustn't forget the important message: EDUCATION IS A RIGHT NOT A PRIVILEGE.
