Full-Wireless Solar Tracker Control SystemGCU Redundancy Feature
• The Gateway Control Units integrate 3 border routers OpenThread.
• All the GCUs together belong to a cluster of MQTT Brokers.
• All the GCUs share the information in a distributed database.
• In case of GCU failure, the closest GCUs take control of the Trackers.
• The assignment of secondary GCUs is configured at plant level and shared within the cluster.

Test Considerations:• Results based on
energy performance at module level
• Only internal Trackers considered (avoid effect of higher diffuse on external Trackers)
Team Track®:• Smart tracking system which combines different devices and
algorithms in order to improve the performance of the plant.• This system coordinates the tracker movement working as a team and
optimizing the energy yield.

3.4.- Diffuse Booster
Problem: On very cloudy days, direct sunlight can be so small that normal monitoring is no longerthe best way to optimize production.Solution: Detect those periods in which there is more radiation in the horizontal plane (by diffuse)than in the tracking plane (by direct) and thak the tracker to 0º.

PV Magazine webinar 1st July 2021The right tracker for you: Comparing 1P and 2P solutions
Aplication: Sensors will be used to read radiation in the horizontal plane and predict how these variables willchange. Combinating the information given by sensors and Forecast, the algorithm could define which is the moreprofitable position in order to maximaze the energy Yield.
Sensors: Calibrated cells will be used as radiation sensors having aspectral response similar to the panels.
Forecast: The services of a weather forecast provider will becontracted to obtain radiation predictions.

3.5.- TeamTrack – SF ONE
TeamTrack is a backtracking algorithm that allows each tracker to be positioned independently. Thanks to this, you can find the combination of angles that optimizes the collection of solar radiationensuring the absence of shadows.
In TeamTrack - SF One, the angles are no longer completely independent, but are linked in two-rows.Therefore, it is considered that:• Both rows of every unit reach the same angle.• Team track avoids shading between mentioned rows.• Team track avoids shading between contigous trackers.
