DN80 NEW FLOW STRAIGHTENER What will change?

• New Flow straightener• Wheel MU 60° will be replaced• Wheel 45° remains unchanged

Why change (advantages)?• Improve conformity with EN12261:2002 Annex B (Perturbation 

testing).• Improve linearity on HP calibration• Eliminate the need to rework the turbine wheel as today, 

improving FPY and reducing cost related to operation “Optimization” for HPcalibration

• To be confirmed the possibility to get high accuracy for all DN80

When change?• New MID certificate release by end of October • By the end of the year

• Customer approval ?!!!

• New flow straightener not compatible with today MUs.

• Spare part list will reflect the change. • New flow straightener code• New MU code• 651-180-00, 500 pcs will be kept in stock for possible

replacements (sales = 1200 pcs from 2004 / 2018)
