How does the water come to Munich?

This map shows the supplies of Munich

We visited one of this Supply points

The Mangfalltal Munich's water supply shows an example of how you can transport water cheaply and efficiently. In the Mangfalltal, ground water is collected from Raisacher Schlössl - without the use of pumps and thus excluding energy costs – transported to 40 km distant Munich.
