Pluto is actually a dwarf planet or a planetoid. It is the ninth planet from the sun. Pluto is named after a Greek god Hades. Pluto is 3.4 billion miles from earth, and 3.5 billion miles from the sun. Pluto has low gravity.

Pluto was discovered by Tom Baugh, who was only 24!! He discovered Pluto February 18th, 1930.They were trying to find Pluto for decades, until it was discovered by Baugh.

Pluto is made of Carbon monoxide, water and methane. No one has actually been on Pluto or felt it’s ground.
