Essay contest: NehaMehrotra, a Class 9 studentof DAV Public School,Gurgaon brought laurels tothe school by bagging thesecond prize in the statelevel science essay writingcompetition organised byHaryana state council forscience and technology.The school also bagged thefirst prize in one act playcompetition at the annualcompetition, Expressions,organised by Vimhans. Thetopic given on-the-spot was‘Living in a nuclear family’.

Topper: Akash Jain ofRajkiya Pratibha VikasVidyalaya, Surajmal Vihar,topped Class 10 CBSEexams in his school with94.4 per cent. Ashish Shar-ma scored 100 per cent inSanskrit. Vikas Sharma ofscience stream toppedClass 12 with 93.4per cent.The school got cent percentresult in Class 12 CBSE.

Govt school excels:Praveen Kumar of GovtBoys Sr Sec School, ShaktiNagar topped Class 10CBSE exams in his schoolwith 95.2 per cent aggre-gate. He was followed byRajan Joshi with 94.8 percent marks. Pravesh Kumarand Ashish Aggarwalscored 88.8 per cent each.

Foundation day: DLDAVModel School, ShalimarBagh celebrated its 22ndfoundation day on May 9.The function began with ahavan. Principal AdarshKohli congratulated every-one for school’s growth.
