OAI advantages

● Better application independancy● Applications can be really remote● Application data can be very heterogeneous● New application can simply be added into the

portal● OAI is a standard allowing to use OAI tools

XToGen and SDX

● SDX is available at http://sdx.culture.fr● It includes OAI features since 2.2 version

(soon released)● XToGen is a SDX application generator
