FREN 101 & 102Horizons audio for the textbook, especially vocabulary
• Audio files in a chapter of your ebook do not always open automatically when you click on the symbol
• Here is where you can locate and download them, save them as mp3 files, and play them at your leisure (listen to them in the bus on your ‘phone etc.)
In iLrn, go to “Media Library”
Example for the whole ch. préliminaire audio…
• FREN 101: AUDIO FLASHCARDS = all the vocabulary from the chapter, in one synthesised list at the end of that chapter
• In your ebook, at the end of a chapter, you will see that the last two pages are a synopsis of that chapter’s vocabulary. (From ch. 1 onwards, there is also a grammar synopsis just before.)
• There’s a little audio symbol that doesn’t always work on all devices, operating systems, and browsers. It links to the very useful audio flashcards.
Route 1: go to ebook
• then to the chapter in question • then vocabulary at the end of the chapter • (example that follows = preliminary chapter)
Route 2: go to “Practice”
…and select the appropriate chapter,then either just one compétenceor the whole chapter
