My thoughts on these logo designs to “rebrand” FRA:

I have tried to give you four very different looks and color combinations. Nothing here is set in stone. We can change or modify anything you see here and mix and match if necessary. I purposely did not use red since that is the prominent color for Saginaw Prep. Look these over, discuss them and let me know what you think.

Design #1Tends be more of a prep school look with the shield and the formal type treatment. The imagery on the shield is meant to depict the many roads to success or a “mountain.” As you reach the end of a path or the summit, the star symbolizes that success that has been accomplished by doing so.

Design #2This design plays wit the notion that any Francis Reh student can be a star or is to be treasured (the image does have a gem like quality).

Design #3Your recent marketing materials say: “Your children, our commitment, their achievement.” In looking at the definition of “commitment,” a word that came up was “pledge.” A pledge is usually associated with some sort of hand sign, hence the hand prints. The star again is a symbol of achievement. In looking at the hand prints, I thought why not make the fingers the flares of a firework? The hands combined with the stars creates a very simple, yet dynamic image.

Design #4This is a reinterpretation of your current logo’s idea, expressed in a more dynamic fashion to try to show the excitement that comes with knowledge.
