the drugs they use and needles that they share

• Women are being brought and sold as property

• Pimps take prostitutes away from others to have total control over them

• They are manipulated into believing anything that their pimps tell them

The emotional abuse that prostitutes face

• Pimps control prostitutes by inducing intense fear

• Due to stress and because of the emotional abuse, prostitutes are diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder
