Philosophy Of Education

with, with which do you fall in?

What is your personal philosophy in life? In education? In learning?

Formulate your own philosophy

Philosophy is in everything that we do.

Dealings with parents and other people around you

How you learn things and apply them in your life

Attitude in life reflects your philosophy.

Your life reflects your philosophy.

Philosophy = You

Philosophy = self

Philosophy in education includes these concepts:

Human person

True and good that needs to be taught

Teaching process

True and good that must be taught

Teaching process

Example:

The philosophy of Purita B. Bilbao:

•I believe that every childhas a natural interest in learning

and is capable of learningis an embodied spirit

can be influenced but not totally by his/her environment

is unique and so comparing a child to other children has no basis.

I believe that there are unchanging values in changing times and these must be passed on to every child by my modeling, value inclination

and value integration in my lessons.

I believe that my task as a teacher is to facilitate the development of every child to the optimum and to

the maximum.
