Using DevFoam to create code for crown moldings
1. Run DevFoam and open the DXF file (in this example – 14 inch 2.dxf)
Click the “Edit” menu and then click on the “Select” menu -> now click on “Select All”
All shapes are now selected to be cut

Click on the “Cut” menu

Click on the “Create cut Path” button

The step below is optional – if you wish to over-ride the software path that connects
between one shape and the other – follow the steps below, if you are OK with the
software selection, you can skip this step
In the picture above – check the Edit Mode check box
You can zoom in by clicking on the right mouse button and selecting the “Zoom In”

The blue squares can be dragged to the new location that you prefer to have the wire
travel from one shape to the other

Once done – click on the “Export path to 4 axis G code”

Run Mach3 and load the g code that was just generated
www.foamlinx.com
Click on the “Run Programs” button
Move the wire to the location you want to start the cut.
Make sure that all X, Y, Z and A axis are set to 0
Click on the green “Play” button on the right side of the screen
The machine should now start cutting the parts
