Current issues at our system ..Problems related to the system..
Students are given options to sit anywhere as long in the range
Hard to trace absentees when there longer traceable method available.
~1 hour to check/reorganize students attendees by lecturers
Longer time to double check and finding misplace/lost answer paper
Conclusion – there are more room for improvement

Students discipline issue Higher risk for student sit in grouping. With the
system potential of students sits together are higher.
With groups, student maybe can discuss together.

Improvement Scope – Serial Number
A unique table number for each student
@ Serial number for exam
Based on the capacity of the exam hall Sport Complex – 450 seats Main hall – 800 seats
Same with the old ranging method, BUT now each of the students has its own table number provided in the slip

Best Known Methods (BKMs)Propose Implementations Attendance checking must be based on the
slip + table number together with the file containing the list of students names. (estimate ~20 minutes for 60 students). Preferable done by the subject lecturer.

Answer paper collection as per normal process. If there is no tally, then the serial number should be referred to solve the problems.
Preferable to arrange the paper by numbers too!! I’ll give you the reason why – in the video

Sharing the process in FKE FKE is the pioneer in using the methods
in mid term i.e. test 1 and test 2 To design, took~10 minutes for 70
students but the Return Of Investment is more than that… Interested? let us know ….
Suggestions from Invigilators for the serial number improvements on the past 3 exams
i) Seat number on attendance sheet for invigilators
ii) Arrangements up to 2 lines skipiii) New numbering arrangement in halls
