The proof of a salon’s worth is how it handlesthe problem client. Model Britt presentsLinda Perrette, owner of Public Image LTDin New Jersey, and her colorist Katie Rosswith one of the most common, yet toughest,problems: Her hair is baby-fine.

Britt’s already attempted to add textureto her hair with red permanent color, butit’s not enough. Perrette believes that shecan take advantage of every natural growthpattern with a texture-releasing cut thatallows strands to kick out naturally for theillusion of more hair. Ross likes Britt as aredhead, but believes that she can bulk upthe hair even more with a darker, cooler redin the exterior. By maintaining the brighterred in a center section at the top, she usesexisting color to highlight the new shapeand add more dimension to the silhouette.The result is a completely customizeddesign that looks rich and lush. �
