WHAT IS FILARIASIS?
Filariasis is a condition caused by the filarial Worm. This parasite is transmitted through mosquitos. Mosquitos Suck.
SYMPTOMS
Symptoms include but are not limited to
• Fever
• Chills
• Headaches
• Skin lesions
• Major swelling of the legs
PREVENTION
Use a mosquito net
Cover as much skin as possible with clothing
Spray exposed skin with mosquito repellant.
