Some of our essential agreements

Some of our wonder walls

Featured Country:

• In the desert city of Yazd, some older houses are built below ground, where residents can escape the heat. These houses have special towers that are designed to catch breezes and point them downward, creating a kind of natural air conditioning.

• Iranian rugs and carpets are known worldwide for their fine craftsmanship and design.

Iran• More than 10 percent of Iran’s population is nomadic

or seminomadic, meaning that they move from place to place instead of living in just one location.
