When do FDMs return to campus? FDMs will move back to campus on Sunday, August 24th from 12pm-4pm, the

RD of the hall will be available to give you access to your room. You will then

have from 4pm-6pm to move into the training hall.

If you are living off campus during the fall term you are invited to stay with us

in the training hall. Please RSVP to Nick (nick.fahnders@jwu.edu) by July 31st.

What is a training hall and what

should I bring? The training hall is where all of the student staff members will be staying

during training. You will be staying in Snowden and will have a roommate –

use this time to meet other FDMs and have fun! Expectations for staying in the

training hall will be reviewed at training. You will not have access to your

permanent hall during training so bring enough clothes, sneakers, bedding and

toiletries to last you two nights (August 24th & 25th). You will be moving back

to your permanent hall on August 26th!

What should I bring to training? All you need to bring to training is a positive attitude and open mind, we will

provide you with all training materials, writing utensils, and a notepad.

How long is training? FDMs will attend training as a group for three days before working in their

assigned hall.

When is my first official work day? FDMs will begin sitting desk on Thursday, August 28th.
