Do faith and science conflict?
People sometimes think that to be a scientific person means you have to reject God.But in fact, modern discoveries such as the Big Bang theory actually point towardsGod.Watch this short video to see how:
Questions:
Describe Thomas Aquinas’ “argument from contingency” in your own words. How does the concept of “intelligibility” or the “Big Bang” theory show that faithand science are compatible?

SUPPORT ST. VINCENT DE PAULBLACK BAG COLLECTION
Each year our parish supported the Society of St.Vincent de Paul through their annual Archdiocesan-wide Black Bag Collection. This year's collection willtake place on July 11-12, 2020. This is the Society’s
single largest fundraising campaign of the year, whichtypically takes place during mass. This year’s
collection will be different because of the COVID-19pandemic many of our parishioners who would
normally donate to the Society’s Black Bag Collectionwill not be present during mass for this year’s
collection. This means the Society could possibly notmeet their goal necessary to help our neighbors in
need. Please consider donating to the Society of St.Vincent de Paul’s Black Bag Collection.
FEDERAL EXECUTIONS SET TORESUME NEXT WEEK
(July 13-17)Beginning on Monday next week, there are threefederal executions scheduled — the first executions bythe federal government to take place in 17 years. The last federal execution in 2003 predates CMN'sfounding. This is uncharted territory for us and somany others. As such, we wanted to offer a few waysfor our community to come together to lament thisunnecessary and avoidable attack on human dignity.Join us for one of our three Virtual Prayer Vigils nextweek, or take a couple of minutes to watch this videomessage.
