• Map any number of dimensions
• Receive and validate unstructured data
• Unlimited features per item
scoopOS has no fixed specification about how to structure article data. Whether fashion, white goods
or spare parts lists: scoopOS adapts to the structure for effective and neutral data management.

A u t o m a t e d p r o d u c t r a n g e s e l e c t i o n• Define own rules
• Effective product range selection for import, permanent or export
• Manage any number of category trees
Online shops, press databases, affiliate systems and marketplaces use category trees. scoopOS
can display, manage and export these trees. The automatic sorting of products into such trees is an
essential task. scoopOS integrated product range selection can do this.

• Automated quality for article data or media
• Increased transparency through visibility
• Avoid errors in other systems
scoopOS uses so-called validators to record e.g. the completeness of article data for an outbound.
For example, the system checks whether all features and correct values for products exist. Failure to
do so may result in various consequences or measures. One of them is the blacklist.
B l a c k l i s t
B l o c k e d l i s t s• Manual intervention in automated processes
A blocklist has the same purpose as a blacklist. Preventing errors caused by incomplete product
data in outbound systems. The difference to a blacklist is that a blocklist is filled manually and a
blacklist is filled automatically.
• Button-free editing
• Easy training of copywriters or non IT specialists
• Intuitive and fast operation of complex processes
scoopOS offers the possibility to immediately edit content such as text, drop-down, date, etc. This
leads to a UE which is more like an application than a website. This is also known from proprietary
software like Filemaker.

• Automated matching with a CDN
• Reduce traffic
• Better control of media quality in the channels
The possibility to feed a CDN with material is integrated
in scoopOS. This can be content of any kind.

• Convert media formats to other formats/sizes
• Generate on „demand“ or as a lump sum always
• Formats and sizes available by channel
scoopOS has the possibility to reduce and increase bitmap formats. Format
conversion is also possible. You can convert an original TIFF with 3000
x 3000 pixels into a JPG with 150 x 150 pixels. Formats are linked to
„outbounds“ in scooopOS.

• Create a section of an image
• Perspective distortion
• Add aspect ratio adjusting, such as white border
scoopOS has extensive possibilities for image processing. You can change image
files, not only to a different type, but also in content.

• As an aid in the selection of media in image production
• As support in the search in an online shop
In scoopOS the „tagging“ of pictures or videos (media material in general) is possible.
You can append an extra text to an image and add any number of tags.
T a g g i n g
• Optimal for ensuring data quality
• For article data, images or other movement data
• Easy to use and quick to understand
A central component of scoopOS is the establishment of data quality achieved by means of
validators. So-called validators are small independent scoopOS components that perform a specific
test. Such validators can be applied to all material contained in scoopOS (products, features,
media, links etc.). Each validator uses the scoopOS queue (queueing). Trigger a validator e.g. by
an import, a change of the article data by a user or another trigger.

• Compare different versions of media
• Create history or archive media
• Targeted control of approval processes
scoopOS manages media automatically in versions. Unless otherwise defined, it will create a new
version each time you upload or update an image or video. scoopOS stores and manages all
media in its own file system. Each type (e.g. clipping, batch images, model videos etc.) has its own
index. An index is comparable to a container. Versions of media are stored within an index.

• Export in all common formats like JSON, XML, XLS, CSV, Impex,...
• Download media as zip file or send it by e-mail
• Define and monitor export rules and rights
scoopOS is an open system in the area of interfaces. Products, pictures, videos, product range
selections etc., you can export any information from scoopOS; export product data in any format.
scoopOS is optimised to process both imports and exports in the best quality and speed.
E x p o r t / E x p o r t c h e c k s
I m p o r t / E x p o r t c h e c k s• Any number of interfaces: JSON, XML, CSV, Impex, etc.
•Complete quality inspection through rule-based analysis
Couple scoopOS to any number of different inbound systems. The form and method are of
secondary importance. Examples are WaWi, file servers, catalogue production systems, marketing
planning tools etc. What is more important is that scoopOS‘ design enables the most flexible and
fast import process.
• Automated or manual generation of cross-selling information
• As backup data or index for FactFinder etc.
• Random rules and methods
scoopOS provides the possibility to transfer comprehensive XSell information to other systems
(e.g. online shop). The method is completely random. Such information is for use in online shops to
offer the customer more „suitable“ or „similar“ products on product detail pages (PDP).

• Any number of arithmetic operations
• No more „false“ dependencies
• Order and overview in all processes
A queue is a system that switches different independent individual processes in a row and processes
them one after the other. scoopOS uses a queue to bring all operations or processes into a certain
order. Often, computing- or storage-intensive operations run simultaneous, which entails the risk of
exhausting the server load.
R i g h t s & R o l e s
• Individual configurations of rights
• OAuth 2 authentication method
• Transfer of rights from other systems
scoopOS offers a comprehensive rights model. As a rule, provision of all views or functions with
rights is possible. Rights groups, i.e. roles, combine several rights. A user in scoopOS can have
several roles. The sum of all roles a user has then corresponds to his individual right in scoopOS.
R e s p o n s i v e• Available on all common devices
• Perfect layout, whether portrait or landscape format
scoopOS is in general responsive. INSPINIA and Vue.js are the base for the GUI. These two
components of scoopOS are the foundation for the graphical user interface. All forms, lists, tables,
texts, images and the entire layout can be displayed in different sizes. Thus there is no special
iPhone or iPad version of scoopOS.

scoopOS can display data using graphs. This is particularly useful if you want
to make simple statements based on large amounts of data:
• How many texts are already translated in the current catalogue production?
• Are there overlaps in the marketing plan of the different campaigns?
• Are all from-to dates for shop releases maintained properly?
• Which image material is most often retrieved?
D o w n l o a d - P a c k a g e / S h o p p i n g c a r t• Fast and secure provision of data straight from scoopOS
• Creating packages via the scoopOS queue
• Control of access to download packages
scoopOS has the possibility to create packages of media. This can be useful for
a shopping cart, for a download package or for sending by mail.
