balances as needed• Problems? Webmaster.payroll@ttu.edu

Web Leave Reporting (WLR) How-to Resources

• ConnecTech HR website (linked to HR website)

• See Tutorials section (bottom)– Employee’s Guide to Web Leave Reporting (WLR)– Approver’s Guide to WLR– WTE/WLR Library links to online tutorials

Web Leave Reporting (WLR) Reminders

• Don’t report leave on holidays, emergency leave (such as 4 hrs on Jan 2, 09), etc. like on paper leave reports

• Wise to use HSC Holiday Comp balances prior to Vacation since Holiday Comp stops accruing after 24 hours (lose monthly accrual one year later if not used)

• Month’s accrual not listed in leave balance until payroll for that month is processed, but can be used as long as in paid status for 1 day within that month.

HR/Payroll Deadlines

• See F & A Work Tools tab, • Month at a Glance, • Department End User Calendars• Select the month

HR/Payroll Deadlines

• Pay close attention to ePAF deadlines– 02/11/09 Nonexempt PAFs (02/01-02/15) – 02/18/09 Exempt PAFs (February)– 02/25/09 Nonexempt PAFs (02/16-28)

• One-time payments about 10th of the month – most likely to get paid on the next payroll id/type’s paydate

Deadlines – Why Important?

• Affected employee MUST have an active job when the payroll for that period runs, for every day to be paid– Pay close attention to hires, transfers, promotions,

FTE changes, terminations, other job changes, etc.

• Missed deadlines generally require manual check requests linked to payroll website; employee’s payment is DELAYED
