B. Para incrementar las posibilidades de que una puerta se transforme en Root Port se puede cambiar su costo dentro de un dominio STP mediante el comandoconfig stpd port cost
El costo de una puerta de 10 Mbps es de 100. El costo de una puerta de 100 Mbps es de 100. El costo de una puerta de 1 Gbps es de 4.

A. Cuando un enlace est bloqueado, no pasa NINGUN dato (excepto BPDUs) de ninguna de las VLANs que usan ese enlace.
B. En algunos casos, un enlace es compartido por VLANs que requieren STP para prevenir loops y otras que no lo requieren.
C. Si se quiere evitar perder conectividad en la VLAN que no requiere STP, se usa el comandoenable ignore-stp vlan
