Lets start with D. Benigno’s Appointment as the DOC

The New DOC

Now we all have to call him DOC!

The Executive Committee of SPASC would like to announce that David Benigno has been appointed Director of Coaching for SPASC. It is David’s job to oversee coaches, managers, coaching structure and training camps for SPASC. We are very excited about this new direction of SPASC and due to the rapid growth and the extremely successful year our club has had, we have found it necessary to now go in this direction. You may be aware that there are some training camps currently already being run and more to come. David is currently in a planning stage for a Little Apollo training schedule to be run in Term 4. Updates on camps will be sent as they are arranged. We are very excited about David Benigno’s appointment and look at it as a very positive and necessary requirement for our club to grow positively in the 2014 season.

LETS REMEMBER - Junior Football Carnival!

Winners Under 8 Palm Beach Runners Up Under 8 Robina Winners Under 9 Magic TFA Runners Up Under 9 SPASC

Under-10 Winners Magic TFA Under-10 Runners Up Brisbane Olympic What an exceptional game! It continued into extra time, where the final score was 1 - 0. Two evenly paired teams who produced an excellent final match. --------------------------------------------------------- Under-11 Winners Redlands Under 11 Runners Up Merrimac Just a note that this was a brilliant match as well. Both teams had extremely skilful soccer players. Golden goal was played and still the game remained scoreless. In the end both teams agreed to a penalty shoot out otherwise it would've gone on and on. Well done to both teams, were obviously very evenly matched.
