Welcome to ICCRC
Whether you have been around church your entire life or this is your first peek
into it, Imlay City Christian Reformed Church has something for you. And our
hope is that you will take the next step into this community. Thank you for
coming this weekend and make sure to look at the Guest Information insert in
the welcome packets in the pews, fill out the Communication Card, and drop
it into the offering plate today as it comes by.
Whether it is your first time at ICCRC, or you've been attending for years, you
never know what to expect during our worship experience. From the moment
you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a
creative, compelling, challenging presentation of God's truth. ICCRC is a
community of people led by Jesus Christ to bring hope, strength and change
to the world—one life at a time.

As we grow together in Christ the vision and purpose of ICCRC is simple. We
exist to Celebrate together in worship (Reach Up), to Connect in meaningful
ways as a family (Reach In), and to use our gifts to Contribute to one another

arm. Pray that the blood test results
she will receive on Monday are

surgery on November 18 to remove
part of his foot.

deal with chemo and cancer
concerns.
Pray for Jonathon, an employee of

rehab due to injuries received in an
accident.
Give thanks that Steve Carroll and
Julie Berry are both doing much
better.

Guest Information
Welcome! You are among friends at Imlay City CRC. We are the young and old, the experienced Christians, the brand new Christians, and those who are just curious about Jesus Christ. We are families, singles, students, kids, and couples. Wherever you are coming from, and wherever you are at, you are welcome to come as you are to Imlay City CRC! The service lasts about 75 minutes, then please stay for a cup of coffee or lemonade in the fellowship hall following the service.
Guests are encouraged to fill out the communication card found in your bulletin, and drop it in the offering plate as it comes by. Please take a moment and visit the Welcome Center where you can receive additional information about our church. If you are a regular attendee of Imlay City CRC, we would like to provide you with a mail box. Please submit your request to Michon in the church office 724-4315.
Children’s Bulletins and fun pages are available on clipboards in the lobby.
Nursery care is offered during the morning service near the west entrance for infants and toddlers through age 3. Please honor the age limit. Immediately following worship, please meet your children at the nursery area. Children’s Message during the service, children of all ages are invited to come forward to sit at the front of the church and hear a message designed especially for them.
Children’s Worship all children ages 3 years old through 3rd grade are invited to join Children’s Worship, which takes place during the church service. Wait for Pastor Dave to announce the Children’s Message, after which the children will be dismissed from the sanctuary for Children’s Worship.

Wednesday Night Family Night This will take place the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, October – March. Dinner is served from 6:00-6:45 pm and classes are from 6:45-8:00 pm.
Sunday School for grades PreK-12 meets immediately after the worship until 12:15 pm, during the school year (September—May). Please refer to your building map for where the classes meet.

meeting will be at 6:30 on Nov 19 at Kathy Brandt's home. The book is
available at the public library. Please join us for an interesting discussion,
tea and goodies. We would love to have your ideas and input regard-
ing this book.

FUN RUN: Start a new Thanksgiving tradition: Run or walk the ICCS Turkey Trot. Did
you know that Thanksgiving has become the most popular holiday for
recreational distance running in the United States? You don't have to run.
Walking is a perfectly acceptable pace for the event. Sign up today for the ICCS
Turkey Trot scheduled for November 21st. For more information, contact Mindy
Kinzer. Also if you are an alumni or a support of the school in ANY way we would
love to have you come out and cheer runners on. 1 Mile Fun Run starts
at 9:30 and 5K at 10 am. Runners go down 5th St starting from the church and on
the Pollyanna trail. Station yourself anywhere! We are looking to make this a
successful event and runners love to get energy from the crowd. Cost is $30 5K/
$17.50 1 mile and can be paid the day of the race.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: There are only a few short weeks until the all-school
Christmas Program, “Christmas Hangups”. The program will be held on Friday,
December 11 at 7:00 PM, at the Christian Reformed Church. Come on out and
see this great program, the audience ALWAYS has a great time. Good
entertainment that is free and only a short drive, you can’t beat that!
COOKIES AND CAROLS: Our annual Christmas band concert, “Cookies and
Carols” will be held in the I.C. Christian School gym on Thursday, December
17th at 7 PM. We will sing familiar Christmas carols and enjoy cookies and punch
afterward. Invite your friends and family for a festive hour of music and
merry-making! Once again a FREE event and short drive!
