Manager Commits to 200 Hours of Team Volunteer TimeThe Southwest Regional team, led by manager John Turner, has committed to at least 200 hours of volunteer time in FY15. To make the goal more enticing for his team, John's V2MOM metric states that he will participate in the Special Olympics "polar plunge charity event in 2015 if the goal is met."When asked about his team's goal and why he chose the Special Olympics charity event he said, "I have twin nephews with Spinal Bifida. Although they haven't participated in Special Olympics, they do participate every year at Riley's summer camps at Bradford Woods. It is awesome to see the pure joy these kids have when participating in activities that we typically take for granted. It is more than worth it to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics and other similar programs by jumping into freezing water!"

“Our mission is to leverage ExactTarget’stechnology, employees, and resourcesto advance innovative approaches tochildhood hunger relief, education, andentrepreneurship.”

Childhood Hunger Education Entrepreneurship

Childhood hunger adversely impacts school performance, personal achievement, and lifetime earnings. By partnering with local agencies that provide children and families access to the food they need, we hope to reduce the unnecessary hunger so many children face.

A solid education prepares young people to become contributing members of the communities in which they live. The ExactTarget Foundation is committed to supporting organizations that advance learning through technology and focus on bringing high-quality education to young people around the world.

The ExactTarget Foundation seeks to partner with organizations applying an entrepreneurial approach to solving issues in childhood hunger and access to education. We support entities that are focused on developing entrepreneurial and civic leadership skills in the individuals they serve.
