Remotely access your serial devices with Blue Heat/Net 16. Directly connect your serial devices to your Ethernet LAN via 16 software selectable RS-232/422/485 ports.

Remote access of your devices not only frees your devices from a physical connection increasing location flexibility, but also simpli-fies future installations or upgrades and reduces cabling costs.

Based on the robust uCLinux (Linux embedded operating system) the Blue Heat/Net can be programmed with application specific protocols available on the supplied firmware.

The Blue Heat/Net can be configured and controlled via serial interface or remotely via Telnet or web based HTTP. With the option to boot from on-board Flash memory or a network location, updating devices in the field can be done from a central location.

Blue Heat/Net products are FCC tested and CE marked. Lifetime warranty and free technical support is also included.

The Blue Heat/Net can network-enable any of your legacy serial devices, giving you the power toremotely control your serial devices from anywork station connected to your Ethernet LAN, or the Internet. This eliminates the need for a dedicatedPC, cutting equipment expenses, cabling needs, and the time required to maintain and collect informationfrom individual workstations.

An embedded uClinux core (a Linux embeddedoperating system) and a free Software Develop-ment Kit (SDK) offer the ability to program your ownunique protocol and upload that protocol to theFlash memory.

All DB-9 models can be DIN rail mounted. The 2 portBlue Heat/Net is specifically designed for the harshconditions of the factory floor. Compact and rugged, it operates in an Industrial Temperature rangeof -40°C to 85°C, and includes multi-mode DCpower or Power over Ethernet (PoE).

Available in 2, 4, 8 and 16 ports, the Blue Heat/Netis well suited for applications such as:

Manufacturing/Industrial AutomationPoint-of-Sale/RetailBuilding AutomationTransportation StationsPatient monitoring systemsProcess ControlAny application requiring communication via TCP/IP Ethernetwith serial devices that do not have built-in network ports.
