What is a phrase?

A phrase is a musical sentence. A phrase is a complete musical thought.

In Language Arts class we call it a sentence or a complete clause.

What is beat?

Beat is time chopped into equal pieces.Beat is a timed framework for sound.

We can perform beat or just sense it.

It is the way we speak.
