Dear parents Let me describe my plans here in Colombia.
Right now I am in Bogota; this is a wonderful and cold city, where I enjoy the Theater Festival every night. Tourists like me can also visit places such as Monserrate and the Sabana forest. By the following week I want to travel to Cartagena and stay there for a week. I want to know why it is called “The Walled City”, as well as to meet the historical center, the Castle of San Felipe and the beach, some of the most beautiful places according to people from that city. Then I want to visit Medellin, and spend two months there until the Flowers Fair begin. At nights I wish to enjoy the popular music concerts, and on the weekend I hope to see the “Silleteros” Parade, where peasant families carry the “silletas” on their backs.
After two weeks in Medellin, I hope to go back home plan my following vacation trip. I look forward to seeing you soon Love Mathew
