Yogasita is a San Francisco-based yoga studio that takes a highly
personalized approach to each o its clients. The studio was in need
o an updated logo, web presence, and print collateral. The redesign
incorporates elements o sacred geometry and contemporary typography,
balanced with the humanity and warmth o the studio itsel. The ully
interactive web redesign takes an innovative and experimental approach
to web aesthetics and unctionality.

RAINFOREST ACTION NETWORK
The goal o this group project was to re-brand and create collateral
(web, apparel, and print) or a non proft organization. The Rainorest
Action Network, based in San Francisco, promotes resistance to
deorestation throughout the worlds various rainorest systems. The
design solution is bold, simple, and uses a layering o tree textures.
The project contains a web redesign, promotional apparel, motion
graphics, billboards, and bus stop ads.

CUEit stands or Can You Eat It. This iPad app is desig ned or users
who have restrictive diets (raw, organic, vegan, etc). The app allows
users to take photos o ood barcodes while shopping and see i the
ood fts into their diet restrictions. There is an ability to create a custom
identity or simply do a QuickCue. The clean, clear, and open layout
and color palette exempliy the qualities o living a healthy lie through
positive ood choices.

MALLEUS MALEFICARUM
The Malleus Malefcarum, or Witches Hammer, was written in 1487
by two members o the Catholic clergy and is considered the worlds
frst handbook on how to hunt and destroy witches. The book uses
experimental distressed typography combined with heavily textured and
saturated photo-illustrations. The illustration technique incorporates the
artwork o Albrecht Durer, a German painter o late 15th century, along
with overlays o contemporary heavy metal album covers.

DEXTER
Dexter is a television series that ocuses on the double lie o a serial
killer who is also a Miami blood splatter analyst. This promotional
campaign, which included a poster, motion graphics web advertisement,
and a DVD case were intended to promote the shows fth season.
The hand-drawn illustration employs splatter patterns and invokes the
multi-layered personality o the title character. The color palette is stark,
simple, and the red accent color mimics oxidized blood.

THE KILLS
This poster and T-shirt campaign was created or the English rock
band The Kills show at the Fillmore Auditorium. The typeace and
illustrations were created to show the modern yet grungy aesthetic o
the band. This two spot color treatment creates a dark, moody eeling
reminiscent o the bands music.

EXPEDIA
Expedia.com is an online travel site that helps users plan trips around the
world. The earth tones o the background images are contrasted by the
bright white o the vector illustrations. By layering the original imagery
o fre escapes and modes o transportation, the advertising campaign
helps the viewer imagine a way to escape the grind o everyday lie.

MANCHESTER UNITED
Manchester United is one o the most storied soccer clubs in the
English Premiere League. The club is known as the Red Devils, so
the interlocking trident logo was created to express an element o
brotherhood between the team and its anbase. The typeace was
created to complement the angles o the trident and to keep the word
mark consistent with the logo. Collateral includes a website redesign,
new apparel, and advertising, all representing the team and its motto,
FOREVER UNITED.

HOPELAND
Hopeland is an app that examines both the positive and negative aspects
o lie in the big city, with this specifc edition ocusing on Oakland,
Caliornia. Hopeland is divided into two categories, Hope which deals
with positive aspects such as education, parks, and available housing.
Cope ocuses on the negative aspects; gangs, crimes, and police
presence. Original inographics were created to ease user understanding
o these complex statistics. This clear and concise experience helps
to navigate the app and balance the pros and cons o lie in the city
o Oakland.

HIGH ON FIRE
This screen-printed t-shirt, original logo treatment, and poster design
was created or sludge metal group Hig h on Fire. The vector-based
graphic plays o the dark, hidden, and sometimes taboo themes behind
heavy metal music. The original illustration uses a combination o tarot
card symbols and the artwork o 15th century painter Heironymus
Bosch, one o the frst artists to examine the duality o the relationship
between Heaven and Hell.
