Materials:• Paper• Pencil• Paints• Pattern Tools

Step 1: Sketching a horizon

• With a pencil draw a horizontal line across the middle of your paper.

Step 2: Painting Patterns • With a small

sponge and the primary color blue, paint the pattern of dots covering the lower half of your paper.

• Using the same sponge, cover the same part of your paper with a pattern of dots in the primary color yellow.• What color did you just create?

• Use a rubber ring to paint the top part of your paper blue.

• Use the same ring, and paint white clouds on the same part of your paper.

Step 3: Adding details

• Add some flowers to your landscape. Dip a Q-tip in different paints and stamp dots on your paper.

• Next, use another Q-tip and some brown paint to create tree trunks and branches.

• Use the rubber ring, or a Q-tip, and add colorful leaves to your trees.• Your landscape is done.
