Bryce Alsten

• 2nd semester freshman• Exploratory engineering major (leaning

towards electrical)• After taking this course, I have gained a

better insight into the aspects involved in electrical engineering

• I definitely plan on getting involved in some interactive engineering clubs and taking part in some projects while here at UF

Bryce Alsten (continued)

• A few words of wisdom:

– Follow your dreams.

Chapin Dalton

• I’m a second semester freshman

• I have recently changed my major to finance but I

chose to take this class because it looked very fun

and interesting.

• I have learned a lot about electrical engineering

and programming autonomous robots.

Matt Grey

• I’m a 2nd semester freshman.

• I’m an engineering major.

• I took this class to explore the field of

electrical engineer and see if it was for me.

• I have learned a lot of cool stuff and really

enjoyed programming the robot.

David Gurian

• I’m a second semester freshman.

• I am actually a finance major but I chose to

take this class to explore and see what other

opportunities I have in the electrical

engineering field.

• I have learned a lot in this course and it was

fun to be able to do hands-on activities like

messing around with our robot.

David Gurian (Continued)

• Although the class was entertaining, it

was not enough to change my future

plans.

• I still plan on going Law school (not sure

where yet) and eventually becoming a

CFO on Wall Street in New York.

Robot Story:

• Our robot, Randall, went on a very

dangerous mission through the hazardous

maze of doom. Starting as a young,

untrained scouting bot, Randall gained

knowledge and experience from his

surroundings to make it to the end of the

course and lead his team to VICTORY!

Team Conclusions:

• As a team, we have not only learned a lot about working together to make a piece of technology accomplish the goals assigned to us, but we also gained a lot of technical skills and knowledge about autonomous robots, electrical connections and circuits, and programming codes.
