Connect to the„faro-free“ Wi-Fi or

another network whereyou can access

is.mendelu.cz website

Log-in to the „Personaladministration of UIS“

Continue to the„Certificate for

‚eduroam‘ wirelessnetwork“ in Technology

section

Generate a newcertificates, if you don‘t

have any valid. User certificate is valid for 6

months.

Download and open „root certificate for MS

Windows“

Rename root certificate(MENDELU is

recommended) and select „Wi-Fi“ usage

Press „OK“ to finishinstallation of the root

certificate

Root certificate issuccessfully installed

Copy the installationpassword for the user

certificate and downloadand open „basic user

certificate for MS Windows“

Enter the installationpassword and continue

Rename user certificate(your username is

recommended) and select „Wi-Fi“ usage

Press „OK“ to finishinstallation of the user

certificate

Now both requiredcertificates

are installed

Try to connect to theEduroam network, you

should see securitysettings. Or use long tapon the „eduroam“ and

select „Modify settings“

Change EAPmethod to „TLS“

As a „CA certificate“, select MENDELUroot certificate

As an „User certificate“, select your user

certificate

As an „Identity“, enter your is.mendelu.cz

username with@mendelu.cz

Now you will be able to connect to the

„eduroam“ Wi-Fi network using

certificates
