Edu-Grant Edu-Grant is a water education grant program designed to increase students’ awareness of the importance of water in Southern California. It is also intended to improve and supplement academic instruction by providing financial support to teachers seeking to do creative classroom projects. All K-12 teachers are eligible to compete for grant awards. Teachers may apply individually, or as a team, for a maximum of $750 per project.
MWD “Water Is Life” Poster Contest Students in K-12 within the service area of Rowland Water District are invited to participate in the poster contest. The objective is for the students to be able to create an artistic poster depicting various water uses and ways to use water more efficiently.
National Theatre for Children National Theatre for Children provides a live interactive theatre performance with professional actors focusing on water conservation and protection of our natural resources. We are pleased to offer you the performance at NO COST to your school. Schedule an assembly at your school today!
Water Conservation Campaign Broadcast Media & Digital Contest (7-12th Grade)
This contest is open to middle and high school students in the spring. The objective of the contest is to increase awareness of the importance of water in Southern California by creating a video or digital art specifically focused on water conservation issues.
CASH PRIZES AWARDED: 1st- Prize up to $600 2nd- Prize up to $400 3rd- Prize up to $200

Project WET Project WET is a one-day workshop for educators working in Rowland Water District’s service area. This one-day workshop is FREE but space is limited. Teachers attending the workshop will receive a FREE copy of the Project WET Curriculum guide filled with water-related lessons. The Project WET curriculum corresponds with the California State Stan-dards for Education. The workshop is held in
