Dear fellow Members,
Its March already !
As desired by the members a surprise party was organized on 14th
February to celebrate the Valentines Day. Even though it was a
short notice we had good numbers coming in to enjoy the evening
with live band, bon fires and Sea food ! May be for the first time, we
are celebrating festival of colors Holi on 10th Mar 2020 from 11:00
am onwards. Safe colors made by special children of SOREM
School (Sector 36) will be provided by the club!
During the morning of 14th February Governing Body Meeting was
held in the Institute with our President Chairing it. Deliberating on
progress of works and budget the President appreciated the func-
tioning of the Club and assured his full support for all future plans.
Despite the harsh winters the Spring has sprung a nice surprise
and our Garden is blooming in all colors. We have renovated the
Aquarium, furniture of most party venues have been repaired and
restored. Soon we are going to start work of the Reception area,
members may have to use the door near the tuck shop to enter the
main building for a few days. Please bear with us, soon you will
have a grand entry through a renovated Lobby.
We have the AGBM (sans elections that are scheduled for next year)
on the 29th March from 11:00 AM onwards. Kindly give your points,
Emails as well as SMS has already been sent to all members.
Looking forward to great times.
Warm Regards,
Lt Col Dilbagh Singh Grewal
