– Complete– Layout is drawn to exact measurements– Lettering equals 3/16” high and drawn horizontally– Corners do not have extended lines

• Geometric Object– Drawn to scale– Drawn to exact measurements– Views are spaced evenly from borders– No lines missing including hidden lines and center lines– Corners do not have extended lines

• Line Quality– Sharp lines – no “sketchy” lines– No “double” lines– Border lines are the darkest– Object lines are a bit lighter than border lines– Hidden lines, center lines, dimension & extension lines are a bit lighter than object lines– No impressions in the paper

• Dimensioning– Extension lines are spaced 1/6” from object– All needed dimensions are included for linear, arcs, and circular edges – no extra dimensions– Neat arrowheads– All annotations are included and touch the extension line– Lettering equals 3/16” high and drawn horizontally

• Finishing– No smudges– No construction lines or guide lines are visible– Clean and organized look
