THEPRESIDENTOFGABONTOURSDORCE’SANGONDJEPROJECT
• The President of Gabon recently toured Dorce’s Angondje project. Dorce has undertaken theconstruction of a 598 unit housing project which, when finished, will house 2000 Gabonese people.Bechtel provides management and technical support to the Government of Gabon to help develop anational infrastructure plan and the government agency (ANGT) to execute major infrastructure ofthe project.
• The site visit was featured prominently in the “L Union” newspaper. The President, Ali BongoOndimba, follows the project closely. Dorce is on schedule to complete the project within 6 months.
• Dorce’s Angondje Project is facilitating the development of commercial relations between Turkey andGabon. Dorce trains the local labor force while meeting both the housing and technology needs of theregion. Training covers health, safety and environmental issues.
• Dorce is able to complete projects on time and within budget in even the harshest climates and is themost experienced company for housing projects in Gabon and the entire region.
