a part of the fabric of the community
Matthew 25 Wishes You God’s Best Thank you so much for the continued support of Matthew 25’s mission. It’s been a busy year for us- we continue to raise funds for the capital campaign improvements, served 21,022 patient visits last year, upgraded to a new electronic medical record database and list goes on. None of this would be possible without your contributions. You as a donor are an important part of our mission as we serve the uninsured and low income families in our community. The patients, volunteers, staff, and board of the Matthew 25 Clinic are very grateful for your continued generosity.
The new health education center building will be completed by the end of December where we will provide health education classes that include diabetes and pre-diabetes education, smoking cessation, mental counseling and nutritional education. Health education builds knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes about physical, mental, emotional and social health. It motivates individuals to improve and maintain their health, prevent disease, and reduce risky behaviors. Matthew 25 Clinic is taking every step possible to make our community healthier and ultimately making it a better place to live. Soon we will have a chapel with a chaplain available for our clients. “It occurred to me that while we heal the body here, we never address the spiritual aspect and many people who come here are spiritually troubled and would truly benefit from this,” says Mark Dixon.

Note from a Patient:
“This place is a blessing from God and everyone
who works here is a blessing to me and many other
people struggling with health issues. I love and
pray for every employee, volunteer, donor and
patient who come through the door. May Jesus
continue to bless this wonderful place with
whatever they are in need of. Thank you all for
your important service you provide for all of us
who don’t have insurance, don’t qualify for state
insurance, but need a doctor. Thank you and God
bless you all and your families.”

Many corporations offer matching gift programs where the company matches donations made by employees or retired employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. Through a charitable gift matching program, your employer can double or even triple your gift to Matthew 25 Clinic while enjoying tax benefits. It’s a great way for your gifts to make an even bigger difference in the lives of our patients. Before making your next contribution, please check with your employer if your donation can be matched. Also, keep in mind that some of the local companies offer giving campaigns during which employees can make a contribution to Matthew 25 Clinic by setting up a payroll deduction. Please check with your human resources to see if such a program exists at
your workplace.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a
stranger and you invited me in, I was sick and you looked after
me, I was in prison and you came to visit me…I tell you the
truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these
brothers of mine, you did for me.”
