Nova Scotia Provincial Rebate InformationNova Scotia Provincial Rebate InformationConserve Nova Scotia provides a 15 % rebateof the installed cost of a solar water heatingsystem for residential, institutional, industrial orcommercial use.

ResidentialHomeowners in existing homes should alsoconsider taking part in the Nova ScotiaEnerGuide for Houses program. Under theEnerGuide program existing homes may be eligi-ble for an additional $500 rebate from theFederal government for installing a CAN/CSAapproved system for domestic hot water use.

CommercialThe maximum provincial rebate is $20,000.Rebates that exceed $20,000 may be consid-ered, and applicants may apply in advancewith a detailed project description. Rebatesexceeding $20,000 must be pre-approved, andwill be provided based on available funding.
