JON TAN SWEE POH
MBA, Certified NLP Trainer
Jon holds a Master in Business Administration from Entrepreneurial Management, Australia and is currently pursuing his Doctorate
of Business Administration in Branding. He is a Certified Global Personal Branding Strategist, Certified Awareness before Change
International Trainer, Certified Money & You Global Training Program Presenter, as well as an ABNLP International-Certified NLP
Practitioner (Trainer). In total, Jon brings with him over 20 years of corporate experience.
Armed with his vast management experience at international levels, and professional exposure in communication including branding
and journalism, Jon’s training scope covers Branding including Brand Culture, Personal Branding, Persuasive Communication,
Coaching & Mentoring and Transformational Leadership, for MNC, public-listed companies, as well as SMI/SMEs.
Jon received the “International Public Speaking Champion of the Year, 2003” (Toastmasters International Tournament, contested
by champions of 7 countries). For his contribution towards brand communication, he was accolade international awards such as
“World PATA Award” (for Malaysia Airlines) and “World TVC of the Year” (For Kao Japan).
Jon was appointed to the Malaysian 4As Council of International Creative Directors (1990s), mandated to help elevate Malaysian
brand communication to global standards.
He has been the International Branding Advisor to the Asia-Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF), since its inception. APBF awards the
region’s most prestigious “Brand Laureate Awards” for branding excellence. He also acts as an external branding advisor for the
MATRADE brand promotion grant (BPG) division, including conducting global branding programs/training under the aegis of the BPG
Division. In addition, he is annually appointed as a judge at international award shows, such as WIPO-sanctioned International
Inventions Contest-Exhibitions.
