1 Executive Summary
This document gives an overview of the activities the NEXT-TELL project consortium has undertaken in the fourth and final project year (September 2013 – October 2014) in the areas of dissemination and standardisation, including also the activities within the previous years. It also summarises the exploitation strategy of the consortium and the individual exploitation plans of the consortium members.
The purpose of the dissemination activities is to create awareness about project results in all important target groups and constituencies. Main efforts have been to create awareness and to promote the results of NEXT-TELL, mainly by direct contact with teachers and school leaders within workshops and by revising the website to provide easy access to ready-to-use tools in the form of packages. To disseminate the scientific results a book titled “Measuring and visualising competence development in the information-rich classroom“ is under preparation and will finally be published in 2015. In addition the publication of papers and articles has been continued, leading to reported 29 scientific publications and 47 other dissemination activities.
A further objective of WP 8 is to promote the adoption of standards and the awareness of standardisation activities in all the technological aspects relevant to NEXT-TELL, and to encourage the engagement with standardisation efforts, by contributing to on-going standardisation forums, and disseminating specifications. There is continuous contact with relevant standardisation bodies; however the relevant CEN Workshop Learning Technologies (CEN WS/LT) has been disbanded in 2014.
A dissemination and exploitation strategy has been developed and agreed by the consortium, focusing on the three strands (i) academic exploitation, (ii) commercial exploitation and (iii) long-term perspective for creating and sustaining NEXT-TELL impact in form of an open innovation platform.

2 Introduction
2.1 Purpose of this document
The purpose of the document is to give an overview of the activities the NEXT-TELL project consortium has undertaken in the fourth project year (September 2013 – October 2014) in the areas of dissemination, standardisation and exploitation. Moreover, we sketch how these activities will continue in the remainder of the project.
2.2 Scope of this document
The document covers all activities that have been reported by the partners and describes planned activities and initiatives. The report and plan will be updated annually in order to track the progress in the activities, to provide updates of the plan and to give more detailed plans for the final years of the project.
2.3 Status of this document
This is the final version of D8.5.
2.4 Related documents
This deliverable is an update of the previous reports D8.2, D8.3, D8.4, which reported on the dissemination, standardisation and exploitation activities in years 1-3. The project consortium is keeping a record of all project publications reported in section 3.5.3 on a shared spreadsheet, which is available on the internal document store as well.

3 Dissemination
This section gives an overview of the project’s dissemination activities of the fourth project year, i.e. from September 2013 to October 2014.
3.1 Overview
The main focus of the dissemination activities in the final year has been on disseminating the achieved results of NEXT-TELL to its stakeholders, i.e. in particular to the school domain and the scientific community. Both technical results in form of ready-to-use NEXT-TELL software packages, as well as results and conclusions from the pilot studies have been prepared to be distributed in several dissemination channels.
In particular this resulted in constant updates on the NEXT-TELL website as the main dissemination channel, the participation in and organisation of several dissemination events and the publication of results in domain specific journals, conferences and workshops.
The following sections provide a more detailed overview of these dissemination activities.
3.2 Logo and other design elements
The project logo and related design elements remained unchanged.
A very early activity in the project was to create a NEXT-TELL logo and several other elements for creating a “project identity”, which was used extensively in the fourth year at dissemination activities, even as an imprint on t-shirts. Figure 1 shows the NEXT-TELL logo, which was selected by the consortium from a set of proposals from a professional designer.
Figure 1: The NEXT-TELL Logo
On the basis of the logo and the colour scheme used, several templates (such as a deliverable template and a presentation slide template) were created, which are used by all project partners.
3.3 Project website
The NEXT-TELL project website was launched in December 2010 at www.next-tell.eu. It provides information about the NEXT-TELL project and the central objectives of the project and serves as the primary source of information for the public.
D8.5 Dissemination, Standardisation and Exploitation Activities Report and Plan 4
© NEXT-TELL consortium: all rights reserved page 4
The website was completely revised at the beginning of the fourth year, to enhance the user experience and to enable easy access to the software packages and tools which have been scheduled to be released in the final year. In addition the website was continuously updated during the year and all public deliverables are directly accessible from there. It serves as the primary source of information for the public.
Figure 2: Access to all public deliverables – here an example from the initial website
The website is based on WordPress. Project management maintains the publication area, where all public deliverables are available for download by the public (see Figure 2).
The consortium partners have included information on NEXT-TELL and provide links to the website on their own Web presence.
3.3.1 Revised website
With the extended availability of tools, it became also clear that the website needs a significant update, both in look and feel and in terms of provided information and access to results.
A completely revised website to disseminate information and results of NEXT-TELL has been developed and launched. The focus was to emphasize on the results of NEXT-TELL and provide our primarily targeted stakeholders (teachers, school leaders) easy and direct access to them. The results include NEXT-TELL software packages and tools, all public deliverables, training materials, conclusions from the pilot studies and a list of all academic publications, which serve as a legacy for the scientific impact NEXT-TELL aims to achieve. The URL for this website remained unchanged, i.e. www.next-tell.eu.
A commercially available design template has been adapted according to the NEXT-TELL design guidelines and used for implementation. A screenshot of the revised website is shown in Figure 3.

Figure 3: Screenshot of revised website www.next-tell.eu
3.3.2 NEXT-TELL packages
The software tools developed within NEXT-TELL have been arranged in so called NEXT-TELL packages, which are directly accessible from the website and ready-to-use. Every package uses an application store approach as the central entry-point. Documents, video tutorials and software tools are represented as tiles in this application store and can be accessed by the user. The tiles also allow a hierarchical structuring of the provided objects, i.e. tiles can also be used as folder for grouping information. The access infrastructure allows to either access the tools/services directly using the CAS for authentication or download and installation in local environments, e.g. school servers.

As the application store is built generically, there is the option to include third party developments and results from other projects relevant to NEXT-TELL partners.
3.3.3 Website analytics
We have integrated Google Analytics into the NEXT-TELL website, allowing us to monitor the access statistics. Figure 5 provides a summary of these statics, in this case the observation from September 1, 2013 to October 31, 2014 compared with the previous year.
With 7.335 visits (5.647 unique visitors) the website attracted approx. 30% more visitors than in the previous year. In particular it can be noted that there was a significant increase on visits with the results becoming available on the website.

3.4 Events and workshops
3.4.1 EC-TEL 2013 - 3rd International Workshop on Teaching Analytics (IWTA-2013b) – Paphos, Cyprus, September 18, 2014
Abstract: The core problem that this workshop series on “Teaching Analytics” addresses is that in comparison with many other professionals that involve rapid decisions in a dynamically changing environment, presently teachers often do not get the data they need for decision-making in a timely fashion and in a meaningful and actionable format. Teaching Analytics as an emerging research area focuses on the design, development, evaluation, and education of visual analytics methods and tools for teachers in primary, secondary, and tertiary educational settings. Teachers’ professional practices with visual analytics methods and tools are a central concern of teaching analytics. Teaching analytics methods and tools aim to develop innovative solutions to assist and augment teachers’ dynamic decision-making in the classrooms of the 21st century. Furthermore, institutional learning can be supported by using aggregated data for decision-making in educational organizations. This can range from diagnostics, to data from standardized tests to socio-economic context data.
This workshop was organised by three members of the NEXT-TELL consortium, i.e. Ravi Vatrapu, CBS, Peter Reimann, MTO, Susan Bull, BHAM and Andreas Breiter from University of Bremen, Germany.
More information on the workshop can be found at http://next-tell.eu/teachinganalytics/iwta-2013b/
3.4.2 ICT 2013 – Vilnius, Lithuania, November 6-8, 2014

3.4.3 Workshop “Formative Feedback and Reflection Facilitated by Online Technology” at EAPRIL 2013
A workshop titled “Formative Feedback and Reflection Facilitated by Online Technology” has been held at the EAPRIL 2013 conference by KMRC and BHAM. EAPRIL took place in Biel, Switzerland from November 27 - 29, 2013. The workshop was attended by 14 persons.
Abstract: Building on the European NEXT-TELL project, this workshop aims at supporting teachers in practicing formative feedback (also known as assessment for learning). Formative feedback is believed to facilitate student reflection, and longer term, self-regulated learning. We will provide information about principles of formative feedback and show how technology based on open learner models can be used to support competence-based formative feedback. Participants are invited to work in pairs and/or small groups to reflect and discuss their formative feedback practices. The pairs/groups will summarize their discussion in a SWOT analysis about the adoption of technology for formative feedback. To gain an appreciation of the tool, participants are also invited to provide self- and peer-assessment via the tool themselves. The workshop will end with a plenary discussion on the potentials and obstacles of practicing technology-based formative feedback.
3.4.4 didacta 2014
NEXT-TELL was present with a booth at didacta 2014 in Stuttgart from March 25-29, 2014. didacta is an educational fair and the largest trade fair for the education sector in Europe. With more than 800 exhibitors the fair is a national and international contact forum for businesses. More than 60 individual contacts with professionals from diverse backgrounds, from kindergarten to university, have been established and more than 100 information brochures about the project have been distributed.
The stand was organised by JRS as WP leader, and staffed by KMRC (Carmen Biel), MTO (Kolja Debus), TALK (Gerhilde Meissl-Egghart), TUG (Michael Kickmeier-Rust), and JRS (Roland Unterberger). We presented

3.4.5 UK TISL knowledge exchange workshop
The London Knowledge Lab hosted a TISL knowledge exchange workshop in July 2014. It was attended by six teachers and inquiry facilitators who were engaged in leading and developing collaborative inquiry groups within their schools. The aim of the session was to develop ways in which collaboration between teachers could be supported to improve inquiry, and to further discussion of TISL methods.
3.4.6 17th
BOC Strategic Partner Meeting 2014
The 17th
International Strategic Partner Meeting took place in Vienna on the 11 and 12 September 2014. This year the congress had the motto: Time for innovation – Find new inspirations and ideas. 300 participants from over 200 organizations and from more than 20 countries attended this international customer and partner event of the BOC Group. As part of the programme, the innovation team of BOC, responsible for performing innovation activities and projects within the group organized a scientific workshop and research booth at exhibition area to demonstrate result achieved within the research projects currently active and running. 3.4.7 Teacher workshop co-located with EC-TEL 2014 in Graz
The opportunity to have EC-TEL 2014 being hosted in Graz in 2014 was used to organise a workshop in German language particularly targeted at Austrian and German teachers. The workshop was titled „Individualisierung, Kompetenzorientierung und formative Beurteilung – Technologie und Klassenzimmerrealität“ and held on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 16, 2014. The workshop was also supported and promoted by the Austrian ministry for education, represented by Ministerialrat Mag. Helmut Stemmer, who also attended the workshop and gave some opening remarks.
The main objective was to present the sustainable results and conclusions from NEXT-TELL, as well as enabling an exchange of experiences between teachers, including invited teachers from Germany who have participated in the pilot studies. A presentation from another Austrian school initiative enriched the programme as well.
Attending such workshops is always difficult for teachers, as they have to fulfil their teaching duties as well. Finally some 30 teachers were present for this workshop nonetheless, allowing for hands-on tutorials with the NEXT-TELL packages and lively discussions between practitioners from different schools.
NEXT-TELL enabled the venue to be a forum for practitioners to share both day-to-day knowledge for the classroom and integrate technological enhancements and solutions on display. By this, we accomplished to start connections that outlast the project duration. One German school in particular is on its way to prepare for an Erasmus+ program including technology from NEXT-TELL.

3.4.8 Training workshop on assessment at EC-TEL in Graz
A tutorial called “Competence and Activity Tracking for Formative Assessment in Today's Class Rooms” was offered to the participants of EC-TEL 2014 in Graz. It was organised by TUG (Michael Kickmeier-Rust) and was held on September 15, 2014 and had some 20 participants from registered EC-TEL attendees.
The tutorial included a keynote on “Formative Assessment in 21st Century Classrooms”, presentations of all NEXT-TELL packages (nextTRACK, nextREALITY, nextTALK, nextPRACTICE) and conclusions from pilot studies.
Abstract: Teachers should spend their time on supporting their students, not on using complex educational technologies! Still, teachers must benefit from smart technologies! In view of the technology lean classrooms we are facing today, the need for increasingly directing attention on the 21st century skills and formative assessment and feedback seems to be a mere vision.
In the context of the NEXT-TELL (www.next-tell.eu) project, leading educational and technological organizations developed solution for the constraints and context conditions in the European schools today. These efforts manifest in 5 distinct packages that include novel software components and methodologies that address a broad spectrum of every day’s school life.
In this tutorial, the project will present the packages, highlight potential benefits and demonstrate tools and methods.
3.4.9 German teacher workshops
In Germany, KMRC and MTO held three teacher workshops in September and October.
KMRC and MTO started with a workshop in September with a school that has already started working with NEXT-TELL tools OLM and myClass as school solutions for documenting students’ learning progression. We held a training workshop with 11 teachers in order to consolidate teachers understanding of the tools and to help those 11 teachers to become multipliers for their colleagues (see also D6.7).
Two big presentations organised by MTO completed the dissemination activities in Germany. A full-day workshop for a whole school was staged at the end of October. Representatives from both the students and

the parents were present, too. For the 50+ participants, various tools, from the nextTRACK and nextGRID packages, were presented and hands-on training ensued with a focus on direct application possibilities in the day-to-day teaching practice. At the other venue, 60+ teachers and school leaders from 8 schools enjoyed a presentation of the OLM as a means for changed feedback culture and self-directed learning for the Gemeinschaftsschul-Netzwerk (network of comprehensive schools in Baden-Württemberg). Lively discussion was moderated and three trainings were consequently booked and held for individual schools.
3.5 Other dissemination materials
Next to the NEXT-TELL website, which serves as the main dissemination channel, several other supporting materials have been produced. They are described in the following sections.
3.5.1 YouTube channel
NEXT-TELL has established its own channel on YouTube to collect and make accessible all video based material generated in NEXT-TELL. The channel can be reached at: http://www.youtube.com/user/NEXTTELLproject/
Figure 13: NEXT-TELL on YouTube
Promotional Video
To disseminate the results of NEXT-TELL an animated video has been produced. This video focuses on the set of tools developed in NEXT-TELL. The video has a runtime of 3:23 min and has been produced in Full HD resolution.
This video is being used as eye-catcher at dissemination events, i.e. ONLINE EDUCA 2012 in Berlin, ICT 2013 in Vilnius or didacta 2014 in Stuttgart and is accessible via the NEXT-TELL YouTube channel.

Awareness Video
To create attention and awareness for the objectives of NEXT-TELL, an awareness video has been produced. The video has a runtime of 3:36 and was used at length at the didacta 2014 in Stuttgart and at the final trainings in Germany. It helped to attract visitors to our booth and we received a lot of positive feedback on it.
Figure 15: NEXT-TELL awareness video
Interviews with teachers from the pilot studies
Opinions of real users are an important aid in attracting new users. This was clearly highlighted by many schools establishing contacts to German partner MTO after hearing intensive praise of the nextTRACK package used at schools. Hence several interviews have been recorded with teachers from the pilot studies, some of them are available on the NEXT-TELL channel as well. Testimonials have also been made in German from the Austrian pilots of partner TALK, which can also be accessed via YouTube (accessible as playlist in the NEXT-TELL channel, https://www.youtube.com/user/NEXTTELLproject/playlists).

Figure 16: Screenshot from an interview on NEXT-TELL
Training videos
As part of the training materials created for NEXT-TELL, several videos and one e-book containing video have been created. The videos are made available on YouTube, as a separate playlist on the NEXT-TELL channel (see above), in addition to the Moodle courses created for each tool. For each tool there is a short introduction video for explaining the basic concept and idea of the tool, for overview, and several more detailed videos on how to complete various tasks with the tool. Here, one aspect of the tool is focused on in each video. The videos are specifically directed at teachers, and all are subtitled in English and some also in German."
3.5.2 New project flyer
A NEXT-TELL flyer was created early in the project as a complementary instrument for creating public awareness. It was developed as an “eye catcher” which is distributed mainly at meetings and conferences, or given away to school leaders and teachers to generate interest.
In the fourth year this folder has been revised to inform on the results of NEXT-TELL. This folder will also be actively distributed by all consortium partners after the project. The following Figure 17 displays the pages of this folder.

3.5.3 Press releases
Press releases have been drafted and distributed to news agencies, informing on the project and its results. In addition to national press releases, there has been an international press release in English in both the UK and the US. It has been distributed specifically to journalists dealing with the topic of schools/education.
3.5.4 USB sticks
To support the distribution of NEXT-TELL packages and tools, which are quite large also in terms of their distribution size, USB sticks with 8 GB storage capacity have been produced.
USB sticks are very useful, as they allow distributing information as well as software installation packages and can be reused afterwards be the stakeholders who received them.

3.6 Book “Measuring and visualising competence development in the information-rich classroom”
The legacy of NEXT-TELL will also be available as book, internationally published by a highly reputated publishing house in the learning domain. A team of co-editors from the NEXT-TELL consortium has been formed (Susan Bull, Barbara Wasson, Michael Kickmeier-Rust, Ravi Vatrapu, led by Peter Reimann) that developed a proposal for a book on “The Information-rich Classroom” for Routledge/Taylor & Francis during July 2013. The proposal has been reviewed by Routledge and finally being accepted. The book is now completed as draft and there will be a final revision round to address feedback from the publisher review process in December 2014. After this the final book will be published 2015.

3.7.1 Publication policy
The NEXT-TELL consortium has decided on a publication policy that respects the intellectual property rights of all consortium members. All partners are informed on project related publications well in advance of submission by sending an email to the general project mailing list and by putting the submitted publication onto the internal document store.
After publication of the contribution, an email is sent to the project coordinators office containing a PDF version of the paper (and/or abstract) and the exact bibliographic reference is stored in a shared spread sheet.
All project partners are committed to publishing joint publications, whenever possible, to document the collaborative effort and the integrated character of the project.

One important target group in this respect can be seen in other EU projects and activities, in order to realize synergies and extend the scope and impact of the project. The following overview is a collection of activities since the start of the project (more recent ones at the beginning).
LEA’s BOX
http://www.leas-box.eu
LEA’s BOX is a FP7 project operating in the field of learning analytics; in fact, this project is an outcome and continuation of the work in Next-Tell. Based on the experiences and achievements in Next-Tell, new ideas and directions were raised and influenced the setup of LEA’s BOX. Developments of Next-Tell will be continued an advanced, although with a slight direction change from formative e-assessment to learning analytics and data mining.
FP7 EMOTE project
http://www.emote-project.eu
EMOTE is a collaborative project, coordinated by University of Birmingham, that aims to develop artificial tutors capable of emotionally engaging with learners. The acronym EMOTE stands for “EMbOdied-perceptive Tutors for Empathy-based learning”. EMOTE is planning to use the NEXT-TELL OLM in a classroom study due to take place in March 2015. This is postponed from an earlier study that was planned for November and December 2013
TEL-Map project

of those new forms, via awareness building and knowledge management on the results of EU RTD projects in TEL and socio-economic evaluations in education.
NEXT-TELL is one of the selected EU TEL projects that are cooperating with TEL-Map to the definition of the TEL roadmap of next ten years. NEXT-TELL is also listed in the project area in the “The Learning Frontiers” portal (http://www.learningfrontiers.eu), which is maintained by TEL-Map.
iTEC project
http://itec.eun.org
iTEC (Innovative Technologies for Engaging Classrooms, 2010-2014) was a research project within the same objective as NEXT-TELL. The coordinator partner European Schoolnet worked with education ministries, technology providers and research organisations to transform the way that technology is used in schools. Peter Reimann had talks with Will Ellis (Project Coordinator iTEC) in Brussels to coordinate and exchange information on the two projects.
we.learn.it
http://we.learn.it/
we.learn.it is an European Network for Exploration & Creativity at Schools. This initiative is supported by the European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions. NEXT-TELL is listed in the Technology Pool provided on their portal.
University of Sydney
http://sydney.edu.au/education_social_work/coco/
Information about the project is continuously updated in the CoCo, Chai, and Latte research groups at the University of Sydney. These research teams from Education, Computer Science, and Software Engineering, respectively, cover a range of internationally renown researchers in various areas of educational technology.
Metafora
http://www.metafora-project.org/
Metafora is an FP7 STREP project focussed on the creation of a Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) system to enable 12 to 16-years-old students to learn science and mathematics in an effective and enjoyable way. Of particular interest is their work on designing a visual language to support students’ reflection on their individual and collaborative learning, the implementation of a platform integrating state-of-the-art argumentation tools with exploratory environments and the development of an adaptive diagnostic system which provides visualisations of student learning for teachers. Contact has been made with Professor Andreas Harrer, who is the technical manager of Metafora.
AVATAR project
http://www.avatarproject.eu/avatar/index.php
The AVATAR project educated European school teachers in the usage of virtual worlds for teaching. It has ended in November 2011, however, the community lives on. talkademy.org has offered help in preserving the community and hosting the developed 3D content on its island to keep it available for further teaching. Teachers from the AVATAR project are an interesting target group for NEXT-TELL's further teacher recruitment.
TILA project
http://tilaproject.eu/
The TILA project works on improving the quality of foreign language teaching and learning processes by means of meaningful telecollaboration among peers. It uses various sorts of technology, including

OpenSim and Moodle. TILA focusses on secondary schools, which makes it an especially interesting partner for NEXT-TELL. TILA is funded by the EU's Lifelong Learning Programme.
EUROVERSITY project
http://euroversity.ning.com/
The EUROVERSITY project is a network-project within the EU's Lifelong Learning Programme that brings together eighteen European partners (and a partner from Israel) in the exploration and collection of good practice with respect to teaching and learning within virtual worlds.
talkademy.org was one of its initiators.
MIRROR project
http://www.mirror-project.eu/
The MIRROR project is an EU-project of the FP7 which brings together 15 European partners of which one is KMRC that builds a direct departmental connection to NEXT-TELL. The focus of 'Mirror' is the creation of an easily used set of applications ('Mirror' apps) that enable employees to learn lessons from their own and others experiences to perform better in the future. The 'Mirror' apps at workplace form a tight link to NEXT-TELL’s ECAAD for students and TISL for teachers.

4 Standardisation
4.1 Overview
Standards provide the opportunity to coordinate and make independently created and run infrastructure, products, and systems compatible. Standards are created by bringing together all interested parties such as manufacturers, consumers and regulators of a particular product, process or service.
The types of standards range from standards agreed on by dedicated formal governmental or international bodies to standards that are little more than a documented common way of working agreed on by a small group of developers.
After we identified the types of standards as official standards, specifications, de facto standards, community-based standards, and informal standards we decided to participate to those working groups dealing with official standards, in particular the CEN, European Committee for Standardization.
The CEN Workshop Learning Technologies (CEN WS/LT) contributes to the effective development and use of relevant and appropriate standards for learning technologies for Europe. The CEN Workshop LT aims at supporting European stakeholders with the creation, use, and deployment of learning processes, systems and technologies to enhance learning, education and training by the use of information and communication technologies.
NEXT-TELL has been presented to the 51st
meeting of CEN/WS-LT hold on October 24th
2012 in Brussels (Belgium) where potential requirements for standardization have been discussed. At the workshop representatives of universities, national standardisation bodies and industry were present.
During the Workshop it has been discussed the work that some members of the group is doing on the
competency frameworks (the full plan is available at ftp://ftp.cen.eu/CEN/Sectors/TCandWorkshops/Workshops/CEN%20WS-LT%20Business_Plan.pdf). NEXT-TELL continued to look at this from the perspective of 21
st century competences, which may map onto
professional/vocational competences. The idea would be to show the group our meeting competences, for instance, mapped onto the one or other 'professional' or 'workplace' competence.
4.2 Current activities
As representative of NEXT-TELL, Lattanzio attended the open (online) consultation meeting on the future of CEN WS/LT 2013-10-15 on October 15
th 2013.
The meeting was called to discuss the future of the Workshop on the background of the cancelled October meeting, the less successful April and June meetings in Brussels, and the phone conference 24 September between the WS/LT chairs, CEN Standard Director and Program Director, and AENOR Standard Director and WS/LT secretary.
The experts in the meeting agreed that Open Process and Open Access to Outputs are not negotiable. The definition of openness here is broader than the traditional values of «open and due process» shared by formal standardisation. Open process means 1) all experts are free to contribute; 2) discussions and drafts can be freely shared on the Internet. Open access means that output of the work (e.g. CWAs) are freely available for download and use.
There was consensus about the need to ground future work in the community of developers and implementers in the learning, education and training (LET) domain, bearing in mind that this community share a strong culture of open communication and innovation (as seen lately in the launch of the EC Opening Up Education initiative).

The current crisis of the Workshop (with a cancelled meeting, lost opportunities for new work requested by the community, e.g., e-textbook, widgets, MOOC and other projects in process) has brought up the bigger question of the role of the Workshop and its aims.
Because of the state of affairs regarding this Workshop throughout last months and according to the CEN/BT 38/2014 decision made in the 50th BT/TCMG meeting held on 18 June 2014 the CEN/WS “Learning Technologies” has been disbanded from the mentioned date onward. That had a negative impact on the standardization activities of NEXT-TELL which counted on the WS/LT to carry on project’s activities on standardization. Since this decision arrived mostly at the end of the project, no other standardization activity has been carried on.
