Serbia – the nation blamed by the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were murdered by Gavrilo Princip – a member of the Black Hand, a Serbian terrorist group – in Sarajevo in 1914.

Austria-Hungary blamed all of Serbia for the assassination.
