Diplomacy Order Sheet YEAR: 19_____ SPRING YEAR: 19_____ FALL AUSTRIA
ORDER ABBREVIATIONS: M- Move / H – Hold / S – Support / C – Convoy
Move: Use when you want a unit to move to an adjacent region or sea space. A unit can only move one region or sea space per turn (exception – Convoy order).
Example: A Lon-Wal – Army in London moves to Wales
Convoy: Use when you would like to move an army or an allied army across a sea space. REMEMBER THAT A CONVOY ORDER: Requires both a Move order for the Army and a Convoy order for the Fleet(s) involved. Requires a fleet in each sea space your army is to cross. A Fleet can only Convoy one Army per turn.
Example: A Lon – Nwy – Army in London states intention to move to Norway F Nth C A Lon-Nwy – Fleet in the North Sea Convoys the Army in London moving to Norway
Hold: Use when you want a unit to stay in the same region it is currently in.
Example : A Lon-Holds – Army in London Holds
Support: Use when offering support to your own or an allied unit in an attack.
REMEMBER THAT A SUPPORT ORDER: Is NOT a Move. A unit that provides Support remains in the same region or sea space that it started in
(unless it is dislodged). can only be given to a region or sea space where that unit could normally Move to. cannot be Convoyed. cannot be used against your own units.
