These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel across the Jordan in the wilderness... (Deuteronomy 1:1).

BOOKS LESSONS TO BE LEARNED

Genesis Sets forth Israel's relation with the Covenant God, both as Creator of the universe, as well as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Exodus Relates the narrative of how God redeemed His people from their slavery in Egypt. He is pictured as entering into a covenant with His people whom He has purchased as His priced possession.

society, they far surpass those laws in their intent (see what Jesus had to say about the Law in His Sermon on the Mount).
