Non-gendered adventure pant
LEIGH PANT
Leigh Pant / Inspiration
wish they came in women’s sizeswish there were pockets wish they were more durable
This is me, and I often feel limited by women’s pants. I partnered up with a man who had some pants-related concerns of his own and we set out to create the perfect pair.
Leigh Pant / Research
Interactive user surveys were conducted at fun spots around Cincinnati, with the aim of uncovering themes in pants preference.
Leigh Pant / Market
The Outside In shopper is looking to explore and support cultural hotspots, outdoor playgrounds, and local businesses. Their wardrobe is locally sourced and it must work both outside and in.
Leigh Pant / Exploration
Leigh Pant / Prototyping
These prototypes put our sewing skills to the test. We quickly learned to pattern pants, adjust for multiple sizes and genders, sew different types of waists, pockets, and flies, and work with mixed materials.
Leigh Pant / Golden sample
After many prototypes, we arrived at a final design, narrowed down the materials, and performed some field testing.
Leigh Pant / Small batch manufacturing
We assembled a small batch of Leigh Pants based on the golden sample. At the Homgrown Studio Popup Store in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, we sold out!
Leigh Pant / Non-gendered
The Leigh Pant comes in three sizes suitable for anyone.
Leigh Pant / Custom fit
Partially elasticized waistband and belt loops fit any body type.
Leigh Pant / Adjustable length
Patterned interior cuffs can be rolled to any length.
Leigh Pant / Full access pockets
The Leigh Pant feaures zip-down pockets for extra access, even while sitting.
Leigh Pant / Recycled materials
The cuff, pocket, and interior lining of each pair is made of a unique button-down shirt from a thrift store.
Leigh Pant / Custom trims
Custom branding and other handmade trims.
Leigh Pant / Stretch
Stretchy materials allow for comfort and flexibility.
Leigh Pant / Safety
Reflective strips on the cuffs make it safe to stay active any time of the day or night.
Leigh Pant / Wear them your way

How will Thule respond as activewear, fashion, and technical gear merge ever closer?
VerveRidgemont outfitteRs Alite designs
“I’ve never hiked the Appalachian trail, but I hike the trail by my house all the time. I need to hike to
the surf break, then go get a breakfast burrito.”
“We know first hand that city living is a lame excuse for being cooped up. Magical outdoor fun is all around us, no matter the location.”

“Hiking shoes and winter boots are too clunky and uncomfortable to wear all day. You’re forced to choose
between comfort, performance, and style.”
“We make stuff for roamers and seekers, gear that is both fun and functional and suited for everyday use in the city
as well as your next trip into the wild.”
