Dear Parents,
We are proud of the effort and the successes of our fall student athletes. Our
golf team is 2-0; our softball team had a big win with a score of 22-1; our
volleyball team has three victories; and our football team had a big victory in
their opener on Wednesday. Go Shockers!
I want to make sure our drop-off and pick-up process goes smoothly and
safely. Before 8:00 am we have some students who are dropped off for
morning tutoring and some who wait in the car until 8:00. I ask that if you are
dropping off your child before 8:00 am that you pull into the left lane and we
can make that a through-lane; if you are waiting until 8:00 am with your child,
please pull into the right lane. Please avoid cutting through the teacher
section of the parking lot to drop off children. Additionally, please do not park
in the bus parking lot in the afternoon to pick up your child.
Have a good weekend.

The 2018 summit theme "#CreatingHERstory," represents the mission of Empow-HERment as we continue to empower girls to develop, define, and defend their voice. This year we are highlighting the power of girls breaking barriers and chang-ing their narrative as they realize their full potential and strengthen their voice, tal-ent, and network as leaders. The focus is for every girl to know that there are no lim-itations to the story she chooses to create.
The day is high energy and informative with panel discussions, development of ac-tion-oriented solutions to emerging issues, hearing from entrepreneurs and business leaders, sharing sisterhood experiences, writing personal vision statements, creating advocacy strategies and so much more!
Founded in 2012, EmpowHERment, Inc has helped over 2000 female students in middle and high school:

Online School Payments (OSP) - CMS has provided us with the opportunity to accept
payments for school events on-line. It is much like Athletics Pay-to-Play, comes with a
fee (4%), and allows you to pay at your convenience. If you choose to pay on-line, it also
relieves our teachers from the time taken to do the paperwork and to receipt and turn in
money or checks. Teachers will continue to take cash and checks as they always have.
Just sign in to: osp.osmsinc.com/CMS
Choose your student’s event and homeroom teacher, and make payment.
The teacher and Financial Secretary are sent advisements of your payment.
We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity. Through the year, events will be
added including field trips, textbooks, fees, and other payments.
