ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS:

Q1: Will a copy of the sign-up list for the pre-proposal briefing session be released?

A1: A copy of the sign up list is attached in Appendix A.

Q2: Can you please provide the Symmes, Maini and McKee Associates Report 2014?

Q3: What is the target enrollment of the New/Renovated school?

A3: The Signed Design Enrollment Certification letter can be viewed in Appendix B.

Q4: What are the proposed square footage requirements for the New/Renovated school?

A4: Adhere to MSBA standards for schools 963 CMR; MSBA (185 SF / student) and Chapter 74-Approved CVTE program usages. (See Appendix C).

Q5: Can you please provide the enrollment and square footages for each CVTE program?

A5: Please see tables below for informational purposes only. A specific space summary analysis is a requirement of the feasibility study.

Q6: Can a floor plan be provided?

A6: Please see the attached plans Appendix D.

Q7: Are the existing fields included in feasibility analysis?

A7: Yes

Q8: Are the existing fields artificial turf? A8: Yes

Q9: Is an indoor track preferred in the New/Reno school? A9: Has not been decided yet.

Q10: Will other sites be evaluated as part of the feasibility study?

A10: In addition to the current site, at least two (2) other potential sites will be evaluated.

Q11: Is there currently a parking deficit? And what is the current parking situation?

A11: Currently not enough spaces for teachers/employees/students alike.

Q12: How do students currently get to the site?

A12: Driving, walking, around (21-22) busses daily

Q13: What are the current traffic patterns and how well does it work?

A13: Parking lot layout is not conducive to efficient parking evacuation. A traffic and parking analysis must be included in the feasibility study.

Q14: Are there any site issues?

A14: Rock ledge is located all around the site. Existing wetlands also surround the site. An Activity and Use Limitation (AUL) is existing on one part of the site due to a previous oil tank leakage.

Q15: What is the fate of this existing building if a new building on another site is the selected option?

A15: The existing building would not be part of this project if a new building is built on another site.

Q16: Will central offices be part of this site?

A16: No decisions have been made yet.

Q17: What is the current quantity of the science labs?

A17: Sixteen (16) labs are existing

Q18: Do the current elevators work?

A18: Yes, one (1) current general use elevator and one (1) freight elevator.

Q19: What is the current auditorium size and when was the most recent renovation?

A19: 1100 seats and 2001 renovation

Q20: Are there any structural concerns with the existing Gymnasium or Auditorium?

A20: These spaces do not appear to have any structural concerns, but functional and other utilization concerns exist. An evaluation of the existing conditions of the entire facility is part of the scope of the feasibility study.
