What To BringWhat To Bring

• If possible please pack children’s belongings in a holdall type bag. These are easier to store at Dalguise.

• You should have been given a clothing list. Please mark all items with your child’s name. Outdoor clothes will get wet and muddy, so it is sensible to put a number of labelled plastic bags (and a black bin bag) in the holdall also.

• Be prepared to throw things out when the children get home!

• Waterproof trousers, face cream, lip balm, pillow case– not on kit list however can be added.

17

18

Medication

• Please clearly label and medication, including travel sickness remedies with child’s name, dosage, frequency. Check dates on inhalers etc. and give to staff on Monday.

• An additional medication sheet must be completed on 26th October if you are handing over medication that is not already on your health form.

19

Money•No money is needed but there is a

shop.

•Please do not bring more than £10.00.

•Children will be asked to hand over their spending money in order to keep this safe until they visit the shop. Please put this in a labelled, sealed envelope.

20

What Not To BringWhat Not To Bring

• No electrical equipment.• No mobile phones. Unanswered calls or

texts can cause parents to worry. Children will not be allowed to phone home as this often causes them to feel homesick.

• A member of staff will phone the school to say we have arrived safely and will call the school each day to give us an update. You are more than welcome to call the school for an update.

NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!
