Breakout Session 3 – Discussion Session Topics1. How is your agency aligned to support AM (Asset Management)?2. Have you made changes, or do you plan on making changes, to better implement AM3. How will your agency work to maintain to support for AM once the TAMPs (Transportation

Asset Management Plan) are done?4. Will it be an exercise that’s done every 4 years, or have you taken steps to make it

sustainable and impactful in your organization?5. Does your organization have the skills needed to manage data? Analyze and manage risks,

including future weather-related risks? Optimize investments? If not, what steps are youtaking to prepare your workforce for the next generation of AM?

6. What were your biggest hurdles to meeting the FHWA certification requirements? Whatpart of the federal requirements were challenging to meet and why?

7. Did you, or are you planning to add more than the required asset classes to your plan? Whyor why not?

8. What did you learn from coordinating the AM plan with your other planning products? What would you do differently?

GOOD AT TAMP BUT NOT AT TAM

Breakout Session 4

1. How Robust is Your Agency’s Asset Management?2. Have there Been any Big Revelations or Surprises for Your Organization; What is Your Organization

Learning; Tools and Resources Used?3. Is Your Agency Supporting the TAMP as Part of Strategic and/or Business Planning?4. Beyond the October Federal TAMP Deadline, What Will Your next Iteration Look Like?
