PARKING INFORMATION

  A daily parking permit will be distributed at the end of each class session for the next weekday class meeting (no permit is required on the weekend).   Parking permit is valid in both green and yellow lots   Saturday classes: parking is relaxed in both green and

yellow lots

  IMPORTANT: If you missed class and was not able to obtain a parking permit for the next class meeting, it will be your responsibility to purchase one from the parking permit kiosks located throughout the campus parking lots. Please note that you will ONLY be able to park in the GREEN lots.   Parking tickets are $50 each if you are caught without a parking permit for

parking on campus.

CSET/CTC REIMBURSEMENTS

Requirement:

Anyone who plans to apply for their Single Subject credential in math or science through Sherri Nakashima's

office (ED 100) is eligible to have their CSET (math or science) fees

reimbursed!

CTC & CSET REIMBURSEMENT A

USE THIS FORM TO APPLY FOR YOUR CTC AND/OR CSET REIMBURSEMENT(S):

CSET REIMBURSEMENT (CONT.)

Procedure:

1.  MSTI will reimburse the cost of your first subtest (to a maximum of 1 failure and 1 passing).

2.  MSTI will reimburse the second subtest (to a maximum of 1 failure and 1 passing) when we receive your credential application.

3.  MSTI will process the reimbursement for your final CSET subtest(s) and CTC credential application fee together (for each credential). Please note that the CTC/CSET reimbursement form should be submitted within 18 months of taking the CSET subtest for which reimbursement is sought.

CSET REIMBURSEMENT CONT…

For example:

- I failed first, but passed my CSET 110 exam on September.

Then I took my CSET 111 on November and passed. Now, I

have 18 months from this date (November) to take my middle

school math methods (MSMM) course and apply for my

credential to get reimbursed for both CSET exam and CTC.

**It’s highly recommended that you take your MSMM course before your final attempt of your second CSET Math exam.**

What you will need to submit to me:

FOUNDATIONAL-LEVEL MATHEMATICS (FLM) CREDENTIAL

1.  Requirements:

a.  Passage of both CSET exams 110 and 111

b.  Take a 3-unit FLM teaching methods course and receive a passing grade
